Fetch The Apothecary!

A vaguely 19th century set that contains pretty much everything you’d need to open up shop as an Apothecary/Pharmacy/Chemist.
With many thanks to KidInTheNight for all their cheerleading, decimating the polycounts of meshes, making the arsenic functional and resizing the bottle, and having amazing ideas on how to make parts of this set functional!
I present to you a mixture of new meshes and recolours.

Information under the read more :)

Hello! Lavender over at the Historical Sims discord let me know the bath chair wasn’t showing up properly so I have fixed it. I have updated the download folder, and you can download the fixed file, just let it overwrite the original, here!

Hello again. This being one of my first forays into functional object creation, there were a couple of items that didn’t work properly. The chair which I fixed previously, and also the massage table. I have fixed the table today, and checked it again in my full CC folder game. The archive has been updated, but if you want just the examination table, please download it here ~

“Trying to do a ROS each rotation. This was kind of anti-climactic.”
Did you edit the text to be game/era appropriate? If you did, was it difficult?

Sure did! I think I shared it somewhere… From memory it was fairly easy.

OK!

Hello! Today I bring you a new updated Regency ROS file for the Sims Challenge Maker program with 104 options! The old text file had far fewer options and was getting a bit stale.

Big thanks to Vllygrl, everyone at the historical sim’s discord who helped me proof read (join us @ discord, we are v v friendly - https://discord.gg/EYbmu4yzba), and a myriad of ROS writers that I have borrowed things from.

Eventually I want to edit Gwenke’s ROS object, but I have other projects prior to doing that so for now here’s the text file download ~

Bipsouille’s Victorian hat fixed to not flash blue for @clouseplayssims.

Watching my favourite challenge ever (Clouse’s Oregon trail - which I am totally going to play a version of when they release their rules) and the poor lady’s hat keeps flashing blue. It’s an easy fix, so I have done it. I have not checked it in game but it should work - if it doesn’t, smack me and I’ll fix it.

Hello! Here is my (first, maybe) contribution the the Historical Sim’s discord monthly theme of ART!

You get 12 portraits of POC requested by LadySimmer on a mesh by @curiousb. FT is required as the painting it is slaved to is a FT mesh, and you need the CEP as well.

20 portraits by Gilbert Stuart on another mesh by curiousB, which is slaved to the Grilled Cheese painting from NL.

14 landscapes by John Constable on meshes yet again by curiousB (I just like the frames okay!).

And lastly, a small 2 piece set of art clutter, I had thought to do more but my PC is dying and my new laptop is not due until the end of the month so I didn’t want to push my luck :P

You get Veranka’s canvas rack in pirate woods, with a blank canvas texture, and @influence-sims Sorry! @sims-influence’s conversion of Jennisims pastels box in pirate woods.

The Great Cashcraftening. 34 of Cashcraft’s meshes in Pirate woods (and two tablecloths in 16 yeti colours).

Some of these I have done before, but this version has been vastly improved in my opinion.

Today I bring you a minor edit to @princesspiratecat‘s Alternate Isle Terrain  defaults. You will need to grab those here for the actual neighbourhoods to show as these edits are merely for the road overlays & a terrain paint.

I love the grass on these defaults, but I usually paint terrain paint to the road, the original overlays had two tiles of grass before the road, so I have removed that. It means you will need to delete the road tiles using moveobjects on - you can see what it looks like if you do not above!

I have also made a terrain paint using the alternate grass and the road texture.

Make sure you download the default, and replace the included overlays with my new ones; which you can get here!

@smallcatsims asked about using the roads from my edit of Child of Air’s Isle terrain for other terrains so I made some defaults for the roads for the three other terrains.

I have included iCad’s scrubby dirt terrain and curiousB’s desert terrain, but you can delete those to use your own terrain replacements if you just want the roads too :)

I’ve also used one of @fracturedmoonlight‘s stone recolours to make a new concrete terrain default.

I have updated the download link above, so if you downloaded prior to 27/06/2023, make sure to download and replace the previous files.

Final update to these. @niamh-sims pointed out some glaring errors in the files so I have updated them, Please redownload if you did prior to 20/07/2023!

I checked out the Visiting Dracula theme over at Cradle of Darkness after an anon here suggested and lordy, some of the pieces are beautiful! So you know I had to recolour some.

Be warned I am fairly sure they’re ALL high poly, so don’t go too crazy with them.

There are 18 different meshes, most come in all pirate woods except the sofa and the two chairs which only come in Twig + Yeti colours.

The wardrobes are decorative I believe, but I think everything else is functional.

For the person who asked anonymously, and anyone else who would like him - here is Marmaduke Harrison.

I have packaged him no CC but I will provide a “shopping list” under the cut :)
